Piercing arrived in Singapore on the 4th July, 2007 as a 12 start maiden from Sydney.

She raced 21 times in Singapore for 3 wins and 6 thirds between October 2007 and December 2008 with Prizemoney of S$134,106 before she was retired after the inaugural 2008 Ladies Purse due to problems with her fetlocks.

Her first win was in an Initiation Stakes and her two other wins were in Class 4 Handicap's. Each win was over 1400 metres and all of her wins were with Matthew Kellady in the saddle.

Piercing was able to gain a start as the only mare in the 2008 edition of the $500,000 Group One Patron's Bowl where she finished 10th of the 12 runners.

Piercing is well bred and is a 3/4 sister to Stickpin (NZ), a winner of the Listed Chester Manifold Stakes at Flemington and the Group 3 Victoria Handicap at Caulfield.

Piercing gave birth to a colt by Bel Esprit in the 2010 breeding and a filly also by Bel Esprit in the 2011 season. she is now in foal to the Danzig stallion, Astronomer Royal.
